Hi Kevin

So finished the 7 days - Start weight - 61.4kg - end weight 58kg

I thought I would do the first 3 days again as I mentioned to you - my weight increased to 58.4kg on the morning after the 7 days - I assume this is from so much carbs on the last day? All I ate on day 7 is listed above. Would it may any difference to substitute one of the bowls of rice for 2 eggs and do an omelette? I didn't have the wonder soup on day 6 or 7 either - could that make a difference?

This morning weighing myself after doing day 1 again I am back to the 58kg. My fear is after doing this and introducing carbs in that I will gain again?

Also in relation to the soup - I added silverbeet this time as it needed to be used up before it went bad.

Also the recipe on the site for Mixed Sprouts and Corn what day is that for - is it in place of rice?

Once you hit the weight you are, losses can be tougher sometimes. There are may reasons why. Have you had kids? Age. Underlying hidden health issues. No need to answer, just making a point.

Meaning you are at a good weight. At this point I would think lifestyle change, However a cleanse diet like this so to speak here and there can be totally fine.

On day 7 you can try what you like. Certainly this plan was done this way for a reason, those last 3 day break you off the cleanse. Keep in mind, if you eat wheat normally, expect weight to likely come back.

A little beet is fine. carbs are fine in balance with a normally balanced meal. Hence good carbs, good protein and good fat. I eat about 100 - 200 a day, My wife though has to stay under 100, say 75 . Never eat the same though, you need to throw the body a curve-ball or you end up wit ha weight set point.

Assuming you mean good long green sprouts it can be had on veg days. However many people meaning beans that have been barely sprouted, hence they are still beans.

Hi there

Thanks again - I know the last bit is hard to shift - I am 43 and have 2 children who are now 18 and 20. I am only 5 foot tall and have always been 50 - 53kg. I don't not carry 58kg well - so I think because I am short the lower end of the healthy weight range is better.

I do believe my weight gain is due to contraception and I steadily put on 12kg since having it put in - this is the only thing that has shifted any weight at all. I have tried nearly everything known the last year to budge it and stumbled across this and at least got a small loss.

I really want to get down to at least 53kg

Gotcha....

Well, let's say you were to come to me as a client. I would have to tell you if you are on contraception, I cannot help until you get off (most functional health care providers would). You have completely or likely ruined your good gut bacteria and your hormones. This is not a snark about you taking it, simply that these are the facts and what studies are showing. Hence it;'s time for a drastic change. Birth control as they are now finding ruins so many things in the body. Unfortunately....
