Hi, i had GM diet plan & my query is that how to maintain weight loss. We Indian use to eat wheat bread which is commonly all over in India. Since it is mentiond that wheat is gluten food so we can not have it. Can we have wheat chapati once in a week either morning or in the afternoon. Also, if I follow the below routine, is it going to help me maintain the weight. Can we take rice chapati instead of wheat.

Breakfast: 15-20 soaked & peeled almonds + 2 boiled eggs OR omelet + 1 glass skimmed milk (sometimes idli + sambhar OR dosa OR sandwich OR bread + peanut butter)
Mid breakfast - any of 1 fruit OR 1 bowl sprouts OR 1 glass salted curd
Lunch: 1 bowl rice + chicken OR Fish OR vegetable
Snack - 1 glass Sattu with lemon OR sandwich OR any fruits + 1 hand full walnuts
Dinner: vegetable soup OR roasted / baked chicken / fish OR momos + 1 glass milk. OR rice chapati + vegetable + 1 glass milk.

Please suggest, OR let me know what changes are required in this diet plan.

Thanks

Well, here in America, we even have wheat in our shampoo. Culturally, who cares. What matters is my health and the facts, The facts are wheat is no good for so many reason. Google Wheat Belly and spend some time on that site.

Unless you are hypoglycemic why eat 5 times a day? You body should not need that. Do you monitor your blood sugar or have you to see where you are at? Here are my tips:
1) Be in bed by 10pm.
2) Wake when the sun comes up. Your circadian rhythms are vital to health and good weight loss.
3) Run from gluten and sugar. Who cares if everyone eats it. They do here. Yet, last time I checked I'm the only one suffering from my health issues and having to do anything about them. My culture could care less about me.
4) Have 3 balanced meals a day. Balanced by having good carbs, protein and fat.
5) Peanut butter is a junk food. Peanuts are full of aflatoxins and are no good.
6) Beware of milk, you may have an auto immune allergy to it. May be best to cut for 30 days then re-introduce to see how you do.
7) White rice is a simple starch and for some can be a good carb.
8) Only eat good fats like coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, raw dairy, olive oil, avocado, meat fats. Run from all vegetable oils. They are toxic to say the least.

I hope this helps to start....

Thanks for your quick response. That's true, we should not care the culture if it is effecting you & your health. i'll surely try to follow the tips which you have shared with me. Still i have a concern on food list...the food routine which I have shared with you, if you can check, correct and share with me so that I can start follow the same.
If we consume that much of fats so will not put on the weight as doctor advise to consume less fats. To clear my confusion, if you can share the food routine for 3 times meal a day, would be great.
If you remove mid breakfast an snacks so rest of BF, Lunch and dinner items are fine. OR if we take omelette and fruits in BF, rice + veg/non veg curry in lunch and veg/non veg soup + fruits in dinner...will be fine.
Waiting for your valuable response.

Thanks.

Well, did you know your hormones are made of cholesterol. Did you know you need good fats, I eat loads of good fats daily and need to lose literally maybe 5 pounds. You need good fats! They are vital to losing weight and good health.

Read this article fully and get back to me.

By the way, what do doctors know about nutrition. most take 1 to 2 classes on it on medical school. Not to down them, ask them why. That research and mindset is so 1980's.
What you suggested sounds good. Make sure each meal has the macro nutrients. Good fat, protein and good carbs. Then load up on good veg.
