Hi there,

A couple of things :

What time preferably shall we have our last meal of the day.?

For day 1) is white peaches okay?

Wonder soup: can I just make a simple vegetable broth with cabbage, onions, garlic, celery ?

Instead of beef, can I substitute that for fish? If so, how much of fish should I consume within the day?

Instead of brown rice, can I replace using quiona? If yes, how much quiona should I consume within the day?

Thanks for your quick reply Kevin!

Will keep you posted on how my day 1 goes..
Hi Kevin,

Another question for Day 5. Can we include green leafy vegetables? Or is it strictly just beef/fish/chicken and tomatoes only?
greens, peppers, onions, garlic OK as well.
Hi Kevin,

Can you let me know if i'm eating way too much fruits for Day 1?

This is how my Day 1 looks like so far:
Breakfast (8am) 1 apple, 1 peach, 2 slices of watermelon
Snack (10.30am) 2 strawberry, 1/2 kiwi
Lunch (12.30pm) 2 slices watermelon, and 1 + 1/2 kiwi
Snack (2.30pm) 3 strawberry, 1/2 bowl sliced papaya

thoughout the day, i have drank about 2 litres of water (incluidng a cup of green tea)

depending if i get hungry or not later for dinner, i have on standby a bowl of watermelon, and 1/2 bowl of sliced papaya.

Looks fine :)
End of Day 1:

Felt really tired at 9pm and went to bed (i usually sleep around 10 ~ 10.30pm)....

For dinner, instead of fruits, I had the cabbage soup (1/2 purple cabbage, 2 onions, 3 stalks of celery, 2 large tomatoes, boiled with water and added caynenne pepper powder, paprika power and garlic powder).

I've a burning question regarding in-take of fruits... have read articles/books which says that the body is not able to process excess fructose/fruits. Recommended serving of fruits per day is not more than 2-3 servings.
Can you please explain the rationale behind why on this GM diet, we are to load our body with fruits for the whole day?

Started off Day 2 feeling great.

Woke up at 6am feeling re-charged. Did a 30 mins treadmill upslope brisk walk, and 10 mins abs work. Had my 1 boiled sweet potato with 1 teaspoon of salted butter + 2 cups of water.

Prepared lunch and dinner box for work (Steamed Asparagus and Broccoli, raw baby kale leaves, cucumber, cherry tomatoes. Dressed with fresh lime juice, pressed raw garlic, dash of ginger powder and caynenne pepper poweder).

Does that sound OK?

I 100% agree with nor mare than 2 servings of fruit a day. However if you have weight issues, I recommend cutting all fruit for a period of time.

Day 1 is basically just 1 day, as a help to have the fruit to fuel the body into the cleanse.
Your meal plan sounds actually very tasty and dead on :)
I'm feeling even better on Day 3! Have not weighed myself yet, but can definitely feel clothes are getting looser.

Kevin, with regards to Day 4 for the banana and milk, can I blend bananas with milk and ice... like a smoothie?
Can I use blueberries or strawberries instead of banana? If yes, how much in cup size or weight is equivalent to 1 banana?

Also, instead of milk, can I use greek yoghurt? If yes, what is the portion size replacement in terms of cup size or ml?
nice to hear :)
yes you sure can

yogurt unsweetened fine, best to do some banana and replace 1 with a cup of other fruit or so.

Thanks Kevin for your advice so far.

With regards to banana, why is it recommend as compared to other fruits?
well only day 4 it is, it's a starch and there is a point to the starch and fat, it's not so much about the minerals in bananas. just an odd day :)
Hi Kevin,

I've been following strictly day one to five. Today, (day 6) I made a mistake of eating fruits ! For some strange reason I had the thoughts that today is fruits, veg and meat! :-(
Until I re-read the website, then realized i made a mistake!

Will this mistake affect the end results? Should I restart the whole diet again next week?
all should be OK, keep rolling...
Hi Kevin,

Its Day 7 today.

So far, I ate 1/2 cup of Quiona (instead of brown rice) with steamed broccoli and raw cherry tomatoes. Seasonsed with Fresh Raw garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and some chilli flakes, cayenne pepper powder and paprika powder.

However, i'm feeling very bloated throughout the whole day. is this a typical feeling of Day 7?
well it can be if you do not digest the Quinoa well, etc. so yes it can be common... are you drinking too much water?
I drink on average about 2.5litres each day.. Not more than 3 litres

why would drinking too much water cause bloating?
