Hi Kevin,

I have just completed day 5. I purchased 'extra lean' burgers and have just checked the label which has me concerned that I have chosen the wrong option.

The ingredients are beef (69%), carrot, onion, rice flour, salt, parsley, preservatives, herb and spice extracts.
Per 100g it contains 622 kj, 8g fat (3g saturated), 13.3g protein.

In total for the day I had 3 eggs and 250g beef burger plus tomatoes.

I am 162cm tall and 68kg if that makes a difference.

I am substituting in chicken today instead of burgers

Please let me what you think. Thanks!

WOW that's not good at all. The scary thing can be spice extracts and preservatives, many things can hide under that name. Basically any preservative renders the food toxic. You have to think pure, It's not about calories, it's about ap ure diet, gluten ans sugar free, etc. Sorry but that meat is just so bad.

Subbing chicken in or eggs is totally fine though.

Always read labels. Always get pure foods. Know where your food comes from.

Thanks Kevin. I'm kicking myself for not reading the ingredients first and falling for the marketing of the product. Seeing as I has not completed it successfully this time would you recommend I do it again next week or still make sure I have 2 weeks in between?

That happens trust me, I helped my cousin with a diet, no wheat and she brought me a seemingly fresh salsa to use, In the ingredients was wheat. She was so bummed out. Always read those labels. I go so far as to 100% know where my food comes from, how it's made, etc.

You could wait 5 to 7 days after round 1 to start again. Try to stay gluten and sugar free during that time to see how you do.
