So I've done some research myself since I'm waiting on a response from General Motors diet representatives, pears actually have 6 grams of fiber and one tomato has 1.5 grams. Also pears help with digestion. So I guess that's the answer to my question.

be patient for answers, we are on a different time zone, NO FRUIT!
bad move, just pick another veg. pears may have fiber but they are full of sugar.

Well I apologize but I didn't have an answer. So I did some research. Like you guys stated that the reason for us eating tomatoes was for fiber and digestion. Pears did the same thing. I didn't gain any weight from it.

you are OK, there are other reasons, keep in mind the key is the nutritional difference, hence more carbs, etc. There are loads of veg with good fiber you chose a sweet fruit.
