How does this diet plan work?

What if the person is normal weight as per height? Will this plan still reduce 8-10 pounds?
Is the reduction based on some percentage of body weight of it is linear value of 8-10 pounds?

Today is my fifth day and I am strictly going by books, but I am not observing any visible difference, though not weighed myself. I was 85.7 kgs when I started and will weigh after completion only.

When do you weigh yourself? A 7 day diet like this you will lose weight everywhere, you will lose or should lose fat, you will always lose some water weight the first 7 days of any plan. Do you have any underlying health issues?
