I am on day 4 of the diet and have lost 5lbs and loving it! I was wondering if there was a way to do a modified version and do 5 days versus 7? Say to lose 5-7lbs? If so, which days would be best to cut?

The way the diet is set up it causes a reaction in your body that sheds the water and weight. If you modify the diet other than the modifications listed you will be defeating your purpose. I did the diet exactly like it said. My day 7 was yesterday and when I weighted myself this morning I had lost a total of 14 lbs. I know at least 5 of that was water. I plan on doing alternating weeks until I hit my goal weight. On my week off of the diet I count calories, stress whole foods with fruits and vegetable. Low cholesterol and fat. My BP is coming into normal range, and I no longer crave refined sugar, I do however crave sweets in the form of fruit. I wish everyone the best of luck and it does work if it is followed. Just think of it as a science experiment and the formula has to be correct to get the desired outcome.
